Plants and I

So someone brought me in a "lucky bamboo" this morning to say thanks for letting them stay at our complex. I said thanks and took the plant. now I'm searching all over the damn internet to figure out the best way NOT to kill this thing. Plants do not live around me. I forget about them and don't water them. Although from what I'm reading maybe this is the best plant for me since they don't have to be watered everyday...guess we'll just have to wait and see
